Bollywood celebrities walked down the iconic red carpet in all their
grace and glamour at the 70th Cannes Film Festival. While Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan's giant dress made heads turn, Sonam's bling left everyone
starry eyed and Deepika's chic style redefined elegance! It was a tough
choice, but we have finally managed to pick our favourites! Have a look:
AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN
8/10- The beauty goddess was clearly having a fairytale
moment on the red carpet on both days at Cannes. Even though she looked
resplendent in the sky blue Michael Cinco gown, it might have been just
a tad bit over the top. However, the ruffled Ralph & Russo number
took the crown. The deep wine coloured lips and the loose waves on her
hair complemented her look perfectly. And boy! Isn’t the colour red
simply amazing on her!
DEEPIKA PADUKONE
7/10- Unlike the other two style divas, Deepika kept it
classy and slightly predictable. The burgundy sheer Marchesa gown was
gorgeous but lacked detailing, and might we add, raised a few eyebrows.
But her second look on the red carpet – a bottle green single-shouldered
Brandon Maxwell gown was ranked as one of the most impressive looks
this year, and we aren’t surprised! Exuding charm, Queen Dee added extra
oomph to her look with dramatic emerald green eye makeup. Full marks
for trying to be different and acing it!
AND THE WINNER IS ... SONAM KAPOOR
9/10- B-town’s style icon chose twinning with
herself on the red carpet, and how! Even though her shimmery rose gold
Elie Saab gown was to die for, her final look at Cannes takes the gold!
The glam doll wove magic in the body-fitted embellished gown with sheer
elements and styled it perfectly with gold eye makeup detailing and nude
lips! Such a stunner!
