Sonam Kapoor will tie the knot on 6th May in Mumbai, grand reception in Delhi for Anand Ahuja’s family!

Sonam Kapoor, the sizzling hot Bollywood babe who will next be seen along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar in Veere Di Wedding, is all set to tie the knot on 6^th and 7^th May in Mumbai and a grand reception will be held in Delhi for Anand Ahuja’s family. The venue of the wedding is going to be a hotel in Bandra or Juhu and not South Mumbai as it is far away from the airport and will be cumbersome for the relatives coming from outside. As of now, the Kapoors have already sent invitations to Bollywood biggies like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, etc., and the preparations are in full swing.
Earlier, there were plans for a destination wedding to Switzerland but considering the fact that senior members of the Kapoor family would have found it difficult to travel so much, they decided on Mumbai. Here is what a daily had written in this regard.
“It was becoming too cumbersome to manage the travel and living arrangements for approximately 150 members of the extended family and close friends of the Kapoors as well as Anand’s. It would have been difficult for the senior members of the extended family, who are expected to attend all the ceremonies, to fly to Switzerland."

Even Udaipur and Jaipur were ruled out for the same reason by Kapoors.
